An event which is in its third year has raised a fantastic amount of money for a local life saving service.

Participants of the New Ware 10 running event help to raise £2,500 for the Herts Air Ambulance charity which was presented to them by former EastEnders actress Kacey Ainsworth.

The money raised was the largest amount so far and race organisers who are planning for his years event in October are hoping this years Olympics were spur even more people into joining the event.
